No more boring necklines!

This season, when it comes to necklaces, only one rule is to be followed: the bigger, the better. With bib necklaces as the newest craze, this is the perfect time to continue to show off your knitting skills into the summer. Below is a floral necklace by Mark Warmi, perfectly encompassing all of these new trends in one piece.

Not into the intense bulk of these accessories? Try what others are doing by simply layering chains, strings of pearls, and even pieces resembling tribal or nomadic jewelry. These pieces certainly achieve the same look, but to a lesser extreme. Erickson Beamon's White Lies Necklace is truly the perfect example of this technique- and the perfect way to spice up a plain t-shirt.

Thanks for your comment! It would be fun to knit using a shiny lurex yarn!
