A little while ago, one of my favorite knitter bloggers became smitten with a particular bag from Ferragamo. She asked for help from knitters all over the world to create a pattern inspired by that beautiful bag. Thanks to www.knitlit.blogspot.com for your persistence and fun in putting this huge knitting circle together. My bag was knit with Rowan's Cotton Denim on US 6 needles. My squiggles were knit on US 5 --they are not quite tight enough!Fun!
A new design available as a kit from Knittingbag.com. This zippered tunic is a great topper over pants or tights -- knit in Classic Elite's new Waterlily yarn, a 100% extra-fine merino with lots of stretch, dyed in beautiful tonal colors. The styling was inspired by this season's trend to longer sweaters, big collars, and tunics.
Note that zippers are dyed to match yarn selection. Looks terrific on all sizes. Kit includes yarn, pattern, zipper and free knitting bag.
